The Government have announced that business events and conferences can resume from the 1st October, I am really looking forward to seeing you all again, hosting our events with my Ambassador team but I am also mindful of being a responsible event organiser and keeping you all safe in the current climate.
So How will this ‘new normal’ work at The Business Lounge?
We will be guided by our venues and current guidelines.
Each venue will provide hand sanitiser.
You will not be required to wear a face covering in the venues unless this advice changes.
Track and Trace will not be a problem for us as ALL of our events are pre booking essential, therefore I will know exactly who is in the room, if an attendee tests positive for coronavirus with 7 days of attending a meeting, I will of course inform all those who were also present.
Our numbers will be capped as per our usual meetings to ensure social distancing and also to maintain the quality and standards of The Business Lounge.
Seating will take into account social distance and in some instances/some venues numbers will be reduced in order for us as organisers and the venues to stay in line with government guidelines at the time of each meeting.
The open networking will take place seated until social distancing rules are relaxed.
You will have to bring your own pens and notebooks, no hand outs to be distributed during this current climate. We will not be passing business cards but instead you will be encouraged to connect on Social and a list of delegates will be sent out via email prior to the event. We will be closing off ticket sales a few days before each event so we can compile this information and get it circulated.
I will be guided by the venues with regard to how the catering will be offered, we will still be offering refreshments and brunch, if this changes then I will obviously let you all know.
I will also ask that in line with guidelines, if you feel poorly, have any symptoms of Coronavirus that you respectfully stay away until you are healthy and well.
So with this in mind please can you complete this short survey for me, I need to know intentions as to how many people are ready to return to in person events or whom wish to wait. I will then go with the majority and keep you informed.
Our next event online is Monday 10th August
Storm into September and make the last few months of 2020 count.
I will be sharing some valuable tips to help you really get the most out of the last few months of the year, it will be interactive with ‘audience participation’ so I can give as much support to you as possible in a presentation slot! It will be like a mini masterclass on how to be more productive and profitable.
So come along and join me at The Business Lounge on Monday 10th August at 9.30am.
